Scott Applewhite, File)DANVILLE, CA — Monte Vista High School graduate Rep. Adam Schiff announced Thursday that he intends to run for the U.S. Senate seat that has been occupied by Dianne Feinstein since 1992. Feinstein, 89, has not announced whether she is running or not in 2024, but she is not expected to run again after ceding top posts and declining to serve as president pro tem of the senate.
